# Take control of all your finances – personal and business

MoneyCapp is a Danish company founded to help both ordinary people and small businesses
get an overview of their finances and plan their future better.

In other words, you get your money under control, peace of mind and a solid basis
for making better decisions every day.

**For you personally**

Our app helps you get an easy overview of your finances, save money, plan your future
and reach your goals.

The envelope method, digitally (cash stuffing): divide your money into envelopes.

Create your own envelopes: holidays, hobbies, gifts, housing, special occasions
or unexpected expenses.

## Plan ahead: build better habits and see what you can afford – before you spend the money.

 * Stay in control of your finances.
 * Move or split transactions into the right envelope yourself.
 * Make every krone count.
 * Goals: add a picture to your goals and follow your progress.
 * 100% secure: your money stays in the bank (we only have read access). Approved
by the Danish Financial Supervisory Authority.
 * Like Spotify for your finances: everything in one place – and you create your
   own envelopes.

_An overview without moving any money._

**In short:** Instead of only showing you what you have spent your money on, MoneyCapp
helps you spend your money wisely going forward. The app guides you along the way,
and you can also move amounts around yourself so they match your reality (and not
the bank’s).

**For your business**

We take care of your bookkeeping and digitalisation, train and coach you, and help
you with everything from VAT, tax and cash flow to annual reports – so you can focus
on running your business while getting a better understanding of how the figures
fit together.

_Everyday feedback instead of lectures_

## Let us handle the numbers, so you can focus on the business

 * Bookkeeping, VAT, tax and annual accounts – as needed.
 * Flexible solutions: a prepaid bundle of hours, sparring/training or a full accounting
   service.
 * Structure, insight and peace of mind for small businesses (sole proprietorships
   or ApS).
 * We work mainly in e-conomic, Billy and Dinero (approved Dinero Revisorpartner
   +).

**The practical side taken care of:** We bring your accounts, bookkeeping and annual
reports together, giving you an overview and freeing up time and profit. We make
sure you get full insight into and understanding of your figures and your business.
No more hoping that your bookkeeper or auditor has things under control – now you
are in full control.

> “I switched to MoneyCapp ApS after a bad experience with another bookkeeper, and
> the difference was striking. Jan Møller guided me professionally through a new
> accounting system and made me more or less self-sufficient. Competent, good at
> explaining and highly recommended.”
> Brian, self-employed coach

> “I can warmly recommend MoneyCapp as a bookkeeper. We are happy with the service
> and the collaboration we have with them, and especially happy with the prepaid
> bundle of hours – if, like us, you like to know your costs in advance.”
> Silvija, self-employed, cleaning company

## The idea behind MoneyCapp

The better you understand your money, the easier it is to manage.
I created MoneyCapp
from my own experience: the wish for **less interest and fewer fees**, a single
overview and better everyday decisions.

Early on, I was inspired by the idea of only paying interest when you are in the
red overall – not because one of several accounts is. I first came across that idea
in Jyske Bank’s **Totalkonto**.

Another **inspiration came from the world of music**: Spotify. One place with everything,
where you pick out what you need and make your own playlists. MoneyCapp does something
similar for your finances: we help you organise your money into envelopes and goals
that fit your life.

Habits are hard to change – which is why **tools should lift you**. Just like step
counters and sleep apps, MoneyCapp gives you everyday feedback on your money. Add
pictures to your goals, set dates, and let small steps take you a long way. Cut
out what no longer makes sense – and let **new progress fill your life**.

There are also the **soft values** that banks rarely touch: couples’ finances and
fairness over time, money laid out between friends and family, and the wish to treat
children equally. The envelopes take the guesswork out and **let you make decisions
based on real numbers**. Small expenses can take up a lot of space in your mind –
and big worries can sometimes take up less of the budget than you think. MoneyCapp**
gives you clarity**, so you can focus on what really matters.
